U19 Men’s National and U15 Regional Championships – Day 2 wrap

Despite the outfield fence being closer than normal for men’s softball, the spectators have been  treated to a feast of runs and spectacular hitting. Day 2 produced 15 home runs and 110 runs across 6 games.

After two full days and with all teams having completed four games, NSW sits top of the table with four wins; Qld hold second place having collected three wins from four games while ACT and Vic hold down third and fourth with two wins each.

Not to be out done by the older age group, the U15 Boys’ Championship has produced some high scoring action, with 85 runs across six games on Day 2.

All teams have completed four games with Qld Storm the only team to remain unbeaten and sitting top of the table. NSW Metro Orange and Qld Thunder are second having both collected three wins from four games, while NSW Country Gold and NSW Metro Green have both collected one win each to be tied in fourth place.
