Michelle first represented NSW in 2006 at U16 level and her talent quickly saw her elevated into the Aussie Spirit team, debuting for Australia at the 2009 Japan Cup.
In 2012, Michelle was selected in the Australian team for that year’s World Championship, winning a bronze medal in Canada.
Also that year, Michelle commenced a US college scholarship at San Jose State University. She played and studied there from 2012 to 2015 and was a standout player, recording a batting average above .340 in all four seasons.
Michelle has been part of four Gilley’s Shield (Open Women’s National Championship) title winning teams with the NSW Firestars.
In 2018 and 2019, Michelle was part of the Australian team that played in the National Pro Fastpitch league in the US.
Her strong performances and speed on base and in the outfield were a weapon for the Australian team at the Asia/Oceania Olympic Qualifier, where Michelle batted .364 for the tournament and helped Australia qualify for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
