Georgia was surrounded by diamond sports growing up, with her father playing baseball and older sister Amber playing softball. Growing up in Mount Gambier, she first stepped out on to the diamond at seven years of age.
Making her debut in a South Australian team at the U17 Girls’ Nationals in 2015, it wasn’t long before Georgia displayed her talent, in the following year winning the Best Batter award at the same event.
In 2017, at just 16 years of age, Georgia was selected into the U19 Australian team for the Junior Women’s World Championship, representing her country alongside sister Amber.
The following year, Georgia won the MVP award at the U19 Nationals, and in 2019, she made her debut in the SA Starz team, winning the Rookie of the Year award. Two weeks after the Open Women’s Nationals, she played at the U19 Nationals, winning the Best Batter award and a week after that tournament, was selected in the Australia A team for the Asia Pacific Cup.
Following those events, Georgia was again selected in the junior Australian team for the 2019 World Cup. She performed exceptionally, by the end of the tournament becoming Australia’s go-to pitcher in crucial games.
