After initially playing teeball and baseball with her older brother, Belinda started playing softball at the age of 11 and made her debut for South Australia at the 2004 U16 Girls’ National Championship.
Two years later, she was part of the South Australian team that won the 2006 U19 Women’s National Championship and the following year, was selected as a reserve for the 2007 Australian U19 Women’s team.
Making her debut for the senior South Australian team in 2008, Belinda continued to develop her game. In 2011, she was selected to make her senior Australian debut at the Canada Cup and has been a regular part of the senior Australian team ever since, playing at four World Championships.
Belinda has also spent time in the Netherlands, playing semi-professionally for league team DSS Haarlem.
