Softball ACT would like to inform the community of Ben Kirk’s resignation from the organisation.
Kirk has served as Chief Executive Officer of Softball ACT for close to four years, steadying the organisation through some difficult periods, including during the peak of the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020.
He most recently facilitated the process of Softball ACT joining the One Softball project which will greatly bolster the resources in the participation area of the sport in the Territory.
“Ben has been a fantastic asset for Softball ACT during his tenure, often going above and beyond what is expected of a CEO,” said Softball ACT President Frank Curcio.
“On behalf of the Softball ACT community, I’d like to thank Ben for his time with us and wish him all the best for his future endeavours.”
Softball ACT will be seeking to fill Kirk’s position as State Operations Manager with applications to open in the coming days.
He will continue in the role until 17 June and will be taking on a position with another sport organisation in Canberra.
