Under 19 Women – Day 5
The Under 19 Women’s round games have now concluded as the girls now prepare themselves for finals softball. With a 3:30pm start on Day 6 teams will have the opportunity to stop, think and relax before making their way to the ballpark.
NSW started the day out with a comfortable two wins in their double header, and to no surprise of the competition have gone undefeated. Qld followed suit, albeit in more trying circumstances, as they defeated WA and Vic and solidified 2nd spot.
After losing their first four games, SA have now gone onto win five of their last six games to leapfrog the rest of the competition into 3rd position. The South Australians will go in to finals on the back of some fantastic form and plenty of confidence having now defeated all teams besides NSW.
