Softball NT is offering an exciting opportunity to join their team as an ambassador on trips to remote communities in the NT.
Softball is the sport of choice for most Indigenous women in the NT, with Softball NT playing a major role in providing opportunities for Indigenous women through sport. Delivering quality development programs allows Softball NT to contribute to the improved health and wellbeing of communities in remote areas of Australia.
Softball NT’s programs are in high demand. Trips to remote communities are based on building the capacity of the community to manage and deliver their own programs and competitions, as well as increasing people’s enjoyment of the game, increasing skill and strengthening opportunities to participate.
Ambassadors will receive flights, accommodation and transport to remote communities in addition to receiving a daily travel allowance of $100. You will travel with existing Softball NT staff and learn the methodologies of working effectively in remote communities. You will interact with amazing people in some of the most beautiful locations in Australia.
If you would like an experience of a lifetime, please complete the Remote Programs Expression of Interest Form. You will be contacted by a Softball NT staff member. However, as they are often travelling to remote communities, please contact Brett Toll: brett.toll@softballntcom if you have not heard from anyone within a week of registering your interest.
