Clubs and Associations have hit the ground running in 2020 with loaded bases and are surging to Home Plate.
Homeplate Ladder is Softball Australia’s club and association recognition program established to recognise clubs and associations for implementing best practice governance, management as well as membership growth and retention.
On the verge of Homeplate status in 2020 include Geelong Softball Association (VIC), Sunbury Softball Association (VIC), Northern Tasmanian Softball Association (TAS), Saints Softball Club (TAS) and Strikers Softball Club (NSW).
Associations and Clubs are climbing the Homeplate through initiatives such as Softball Batter Up, Fully Loaded Softball, Social 7s and Inclusive programs to assist in the growth and retention of their membership base, all leading to points towards Homeplate Status.
The current Top-3 Associations and Clubs are:
Top 3 Associations, as at 5 March 2020

Softball Australia will recognise the top-20 Associations and Clubs on track for Homeplate status in the coming weeks.
